"And Just Like That..." Returns for Season 3: Love, Reinvention, and Manhattan at 50
The coffee dates are back. The strolls through Manhattan in stilettos are back. And so are the existential questions under New York’s sky. And Just Like That..., the sequel to Sex and the City, returns for its third season on May 29 on Max, and this chapter comes with transformations, bold decisions, and (of course) impeccable fashion.
New chapters, same friendships
We continue following three women we grew up with—now in their 50s—as they navigate life with honesty, wit, and a lot of courage.
• Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) moves to Gramercy Park and dares to write fiction while maintaining a long-distance relationship with Aidan.
• Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) explores desire on her own terms, far from convention.
• Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) faces the challenges of motherhood while trying to reconnect with herself.
A beautiful gift for longtime fans: Carrie’s iconic voiceover is back this season—bringing us right into her thoughts, her doubts, and her musings on love, change, and time.
Cast changes, evolving stories
The third season features 12 episodes, with new ones dropping every Thursday until August 14. While some familiar faces are returning, others are stepping away.
Not returning this time: Che Diaz (Sara Ramírez) and Nya Wallace (Karen Pittman). But the cast welcomes fresh energy with the addition of:
• Rosie O'Donnell
• Patti LuPone
• Mehcad Brooks
• Kristen Schaal
New perspectives, new dynamics, and a fresh layer to the beloved story.
Why keep watching?
Because And Just Like That... isn’t trying to be Sex and the City all over again. It’s something else. A new exploration of femininity in midlife, a celebration of reinvention. And even when it stumbles, it dares. It says out loud what many still whisper.
Plus... who can resist a city that never sleeps, sharp conversations, and characters we somehow see ourselves in—even with all their contradictions?
