Jennifer and Jessica: Soul sisters, a shared dream
There are bonds that time cannot wear down and distance cannot erase. Such is the connection between Jennifer and Jessica, twin sisters born in Santuario Risaralda, Colombia, whose story has become a living testimony of love, unity, and shared purpose.
Their connection transcends the physical and the emotional -it is a force that guides them, uplifts them, and keeps them together even when life has taken them on different paths.
Today, that connection has a name: Soulmates Studio, a space where every detail is infused with their warmth, empathy, and energy.
Roots that bloomed in love
Jennifer and Jessica spent their childhood in Colombia under the loving care of their grandmother, Flor de María, a woman who shaped their lives with tenderness, discipline, and strong values.
While their mother emigrated to England in search of a better future, the twins grew up surrounded by affection -amid laughter, play, and a home filled with love.
“We were happy, spoiled little girls,” they recall.
Those years with their grandmother were more than just a stage of life -they were the foundation of who they are today. Every kind gesture, every act of service, reflects the legacy of the woman who raised them with her heart and taught them the importance of care, kindness, and human connection.
The first goodbye
At the age of twelve, life presented them with their first great challenge. They had to leave their homeland behind to reunite with their mother in Spain.
There, they spent their teenage years adapting to a new culture, new customs, and a new way of life. Yet their bond remained unshaken. At school, no one could tell them apart, and more than once they would switch classes or assignments without anyone noticing.
They were two halves of one soul -stronger together.
But destiny would test that connection when, after finishing high school, Jennifer decided to return to Colombia to continue her studies, while Jessica stayed in Spain.
It was the first time they had ever been apart. And even though the ocean separated them, their connection never wavered. When one felt sadness or anxiety, the other somehow sensed it -and instinctively picked up the phone to call, always at the perfect moment.
The reunion and the miracle of Tomás
Five years later, life brought them together again in the most unexpected way. One day, Jessica received a call from her sister. Without even hearing a word, she said, “What’s going on? You’re pregnant, aren’t you?”
Jennifer paused for a few seconds before answering, “Yes.”
That intuitive bond -so magical yet so natural- marked the beginning of a new chapter. Jessica flew to Colombia to be by her sister’s side during the pregnancy, and together they celebrated the birth of Tomás, whom they both lovingly consider a child of their shared heart.
“He was our reunion, our miracle,” they say.
Their bond only grew stronger after that.
With time, Jessica experienced her own miracle of motherhood with the arrival of her daughter Belén -a child deeply longed for and lovingly awaited.
“With Belén, I felt the purest love, the kind only a mother knows,” she shares.
Her arrival filled Jessica’s life with tenderness and allowed her to experience that unconditional love she had witnessed so closely in her sister. Today, watching Tomás and Belén grow up together is, for both sisters, a blessing that reinforces the powerful connection that unites them as sisters and as mothers.
Life, once again, brought the family even closer. After so many years apart from their mother, their story took a beautiful turn: once the sisters had settled in the United States, their mother decided to leave London and join them, accompanied by their younger brother, Daniel.
Now, they enjoy her presence once again -sharing precious time with their mother and children -finally completing the family circle they had long dreamed of.
From a shared dream to a purposeful life
Their professional paths took different turns, but always side by side. From a young age, both felt drawn to the world of beauty and wellness. For them, aesthetics was never just about appearance, it was about helping others feel good about themselves.
“We love to care, to pamper, to listen… and that shows in everything we do,” they say.
When Jennifer moved to the United States with her husband and son, the sisters experienced another separation, though this time it was temporary. Two years later, Jessica followed, and destiny reunited them once more with the same purpose.
They worked in different places until they decided to become professionally certified and dedicate themselves fully to their passion for beauty. Their vision was clear: to open a space of their own.
That dream became Soulmates Studio, a name that reflects not only their bond as twins but also the connection they strive to create with every woman who walks through their doors.
The art of building together
Running a family business is both beautiful and challenging. For Jennifer and Jessica, it has meant discovering new sides of themselves and learning how to balance their personal and professional lives—supported by their loving husbands, who have believed in this family dream from the beginning.
Jessica is the analytical and rational one; Jennifer, the emotional and daring one.
They say, “We’re different, but we complement each other perfectly,” they say with laughter.
That balance is what keeps their studio running harmoniously: each knows her strengths, and both respect the other’s role.
For them, punctuality and respect are non-negotiable values, in life and in business. They firmly believe that people’s time deserves the same consideration as their own and have passed that philosophy on to their team and clients.
“Keeping our promises, being on time, respecting people’s space and energy -that’s also part of beauty,” they affirm.
Soulmates: Beauty with Soul
The studio they built with effort and perseverance is not just another beauty salon -it’s a space where self-care becomes an act of self-love.
Each client who walks in is treated with personalized care, surrounded by warmth and genuine human connection.
The name Soulmates was born from their desire to connect from the soul with every woman they meet.
“We want every woman who enters here to feel seen, valued, and loved,” they say.
And their clients confirm it -not only do they return, but they also recommend them wholeheartedly. For Jennifer and Jessica, that heartfelt recognition is their greatest reward: knowing that their work leaves a mark.
Lessons learned and a vision ahead
Entrepreneurship has taught them more than they ever imagined. Jessica discovered a new gift for organization, while Jennifer strengthened her perseverance. They’ve learned that respect is the foundation of everything, that shared dreams are the sweetest to live, and that true success lies in helping others grow.
That’s why, at Soulmates Studio, they also nurture the women who work with them -helping each one develop her talents and offering opportunities to rise.
“We want them to grow with us. Dreams become greater when they’re shared,” they say.
Their vision for the future is clear: to expand Soulmates Studio and reach more people without losing its essence. They want to preserve that personal, heartfelt attention that defines them -while creating new jobs and continuing to inspire through example.
Beyond the mirror
Though they now have their own families and routines, Jennifer and Jessica still mirror each other. They share the same joy, warmth, and passion that have followed them since childhood.
Sometimes clients confuse them, and occasionally, they play along and switch places without anyone noticing. But it hardly matters -because whichever one is at the chair, love, dedication, and care are always the same.
Music has always been part of their lives, and perhaps that’s why their story feels like a song in perfect harmony: two voices, distinct yet united, singing the same melody.
In every glance and every shared laugh, it’s clear -what binds them goes far beyond genetics.
They are, truly, soul sisters.
