"Stitch in Time" Quilt Exhibition at Southwest Virginia Museum

Hours: Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission: $5 for adults, $3 for children (ages 6-12), free for children under 6.

The annual "Stitch in Time" exhibition celebrates Virginia's rich textile tradition and the art of quilting. In its 28th edition, the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park presents an impressive collection of both traditional and contemporary quilts that reflect the history, culture, and creativity of this popular art form.

Since its inception, the "Stitch in Time" exhibition has been a space to honor both the quiltmakers of the past and the current textile artists.
